The Regina Police Service is committed to providing continued emergency response to the city of Regina as we navigate the challenges of COVID-19. Our Service acknowledges that this is a difficult time for local residents, and there is a lot of uncertainty about what the coming days will bring. We want to remind the public that emergency response is what we do at the Regina Police Service. Our training, experience, equipment, and our relationships are all geared to providing emergency response first. The current situation may test our skills and resources, but when it comes to emergency response and our core services, the Regina Police Service is functioning as usual. Where the public may see a change will relate to in-person interaction with staff members of the Regina Police Service. Currently, the Front Desk at 1717 Osler Street is closed to the public. We understand that some incidents require in-person reporting. However, the front doors of the police station are now locked and we ask that you call 306-777-6500 to arrange a way for a police officer to attend. The Regina Police Service is asking the public to avoid unnecessary in-person visits. You can report certain crimes through Direct Entry Victim Reporting via phone at 306-777-6500. You can also report some types of property crime through our Online Reporting tool at: http://reginapolice.ca/online-reporting/. Our Criminal Record Check area - located at 1717 Osler Street - is now closed to the public. Many extra-curricular and volunteer activities in our community have been suspended, so it's likely you can postpone your criminal record check.
