RENAM Member Institution

RENAM provides a full range of modern IP services, such as HTTP, SMTP, FTP, DNS, webcache (proxy), NTP, and also a number of advanced services based on the new upcoming communication technologies. Another aim of RENAM consists in continuous and active participation in the work of international computer network organizations. The work of RENAM is supported by the following organizations: NATO Science Program, CEENET, TERENA, SEERN Communities, Academy of Sciences of Moldova, Council of Rectors of Moldova. The foundation of RENAM infrastructure is based on the IP Backbone from Chisinau, the Capital City of the country, with the Central communication Node that provides external connections (via interurban channels) to the universities and organizations placed in other localities of Moldova.
