Renovation Church

Renovation Church is a dynamic and fast-growing church in Blaine. Our services have a very modern feel to them and we talk about God in a way that&s;s both relevant and easy to understand no matter what your background is. If you would like to learn more about who we are, check out our story below of how we began and got to where we are today: God has done a lot in the last few years to make Renovation Church become a reality. In April of 2009, Lead Pastor David Sorn followed his calling to plant a church and moved on from his role as Pastor of High School Ministries at Constance Free Church in Andover to begin the process of starting Renovation Church in Blaine. Renovation Church was able to become a reality in Blaine due to the generosity of its two parent churches: enCompass Church in Roseville and Grace Fellowship in Brooklyn Park. Both churches helped to start Renovation Church by giving finances, training, and people. These two churches, like Renovation Church, are serious about starting new churches in our area. In fact, Renovation Church was Grace Fellowship&s;s 18th church plant. From April to September in 2009, David began preparing, planning, praying, and gathering people to help officially launch the church in Blaine on October 4th, 2009. The launch of Renovation Church was quite successful, and after "Launch Sunday," Renovation Church settled into a church of just over 100 people. Since then, Renovation has rapidly grown to an average Sunday morning attendance of around 350 people in just seven years. Due to our quick growth, in the Fall of 2014, we began raising money to purchase land. We&s;ve already seen over $600,000 in pledges come in and hope to purchase land in the next few months to eventually put our future church building on it.
