We are The Research Investment. We were there in the days of the earliest commercial databases when scientific, technical and medical references were first made available to corporate and professional entities. We were among the first companies to provide the full text of these references to engineers, scientists, medical researchers, corporations, government agencies, and others. Thus the document delivery "industry" was born and with it, the birth of the Copyright Clearance Center - we have been members since those early days. So what are we doing in the business and market research business? As time passed we developed a reputation and subsequently, a niche, in providing the "difficult-to-acquire" document. And then, before we knew it, we were finding information on products, companies, people, industries, background for speeches, international subjects, non-patent prior art, facts and figures to support television shopping networks.
