Ashwin Venkatraman is the founder and CEO of Resermine. His career spans both academia and industry, with over 12 years of experience as a reservoir engineer for Shell in petroleum engineering on deepwater and sour gas fields. Under his guidance, Resermine was named the Most Promising OTC Startup Company in 2018. Ashwin has over 50 technical publications with over 125 citations and actively teaches SPE courses on Reservoir Applications of Analytics and Machine Learning.He holds a PhD in petroleum engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and an MS and BS in chemical engineering from IIT Bombay. Davud Davudov has been reservoir engineer at Resermine since 2020. Before joining Resermine, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Oklahoma. Davud has dozens of technical publications which have been cited hundreds of times. His main research interests are application of data driven models to subsurface data, enhanced oil recovery, fluid flow and transport in tight/shale formations. Davud holds a PhD in petroleum engineering from the University of Oklahoma, and a MS in analytics from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Anton Malkov is a consummate professional with more than 18 years proven senior-level experience in reservoir engineering and reservoir simulation roles and consultant at Resermine. Before joining Resermine, Anton worked for a number of international operators and service companies including the most recent senior roles at Wintershall Dea and OMV. His experience overseeing various oil and gas reservoirs, delivering development projects and simulation studies, including experience in chemical EOR and gas storage management makes him a valuable asset to the Resermine team.
