Colorado Retina Associates (CRA) was formed in 2007 through the merger of three prominent retina practices in Denver Metro. The combination of these distinguished physician groups represents over 30 years of internationally renowned expertise and makes CRA the largest retina practice in the Rocky Mountain Region. CRA provides specialty care for macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachment, eye tumors, and uveitis. Clinical research has become an increasingly important option for selected patients in our clinic, offering the hope of better treatment of blinding diseases. Our retina specialists have been trained by the top-ranked U.S. ophthalmology residency and retina fellowship programs. Board certification and ongoing attendance at scientific meetings keeps CRA on pace with scientific advances. We offer a robust, in-house clinical research program to all of our patients, helping to drive cures from bench-to-bedside. Our expanding clinical research division participates in the most promising drug and device studies in the world. CRA continues to grow its network of coverage. We are proud to provide service along the Front Range with modern offices integrated with ambulatory surgery centers across Denver Metro. Satellite offices extend CRA's care west to the Colorado High Country, and east to the plains of Kansas and Nebraska. We are fortunate to attract referrals from Wyoming, Utah, Arizona, and New Mexico. Our newest office in Superior, CO opened in July 2014.
