Russian State Social University
Russian State Social University (RSSU) (until July 1, 1994 - Russian State Social Institute) was established by the Russian Government's Decree 15 of November 25, 1991. It was the first and still remains the only state social university of Russia, the Baltic countries and CIS. 17 years ago RSSU had only 568 students, 194 teachers at 6 departments without any material and technical facilities. Nowadays our University has more than 100,000 students acquiring 109 qualifications in different fields of the social sphere. There are 17 faculties and 60 departments in RSSU. The University has powerful and up-to-date material and technical facilities. We have the right to be proud of the fact that from the pioneer of Russian social education RSSU has converted into its leader as a result of intensive creative work of the whole team - teaching staff, students and administration.
