Rich Metals
RMI began operations in 1980 to provide aluminum, aluminum extrusions, brass, copper, bronze, stainless steel, and plastics to Colorado area electronics firms. Occupying only 4,500 square feet of rented warehouse space, RMI soon gained an excellent reputation for service and quality as a metal service center distributorship. Success created a need for additional space and in 1984 RMI built a 14,400 square foot warehouse and office, which it still occupies. Its products have been sold to such companies as Ampex, Digital Equipment, Hewlett-Packard, Kaman, Kurt Manufacturing, Maxcor, Texas Instruments, Western Forge, and more than 150 others. To many of these customers, RMI has been a "Just-In-Time" supplier. In an effort to further the company's growth, and perceiving a demand for quality extruders in the Rocky Mountain region, Richardson Metals elected to develop in-house extrusion capability. Our chosen field of expertise was small to medium runs requiring machined-tolerance precision. The RMI team, from sales consultants to die makers, take professional pride in a quality product and satisfied customers. We look forward to assisting with your extrusions requirements.
