Where Rietlanden is concerned, Mennens primarily inspects and supplies steel cables, chain hardware and hoisting belts. Frits: 'We call this 'under the hook'. If our inspectors spot any shortcomings or wear and tear, we replace the equipment in question. Any equipment that passes our inspections is issued with a certificate straight away. Naturally, safety is our first priority in all of our inspections.
