RI Knitting Co. was founded in 1987 as a manufacturer of knitted elastic which was sold into the garment trade in New York City. In 1990, we expanded our manufacturing facility to include woven narrow fabrics. We started our woven line with reflective tapes and elastics for industrial safety under the trade name, Stoughton Reflective Narrow Fabrics. Throughout the 12 years that followed, we developed a large variety of tapes, webbings, and elastics from 1/8" to 12" in width that were used in numerous applications. In 2002, we established International Weaving as a trade name that best reflected the large variety of industries and countries that we manufacture product for. We deliver these items throughout North America and the Caribbean Basin, and through our partnerships overseas, in the Orient and South America. The products we manufacture become component parts of medical and orthopedic soft goods, industrial safety products, military and tactical gear, home furnishings, filters, consumer products, automobiles, swimwear, apparel, and a host of others.
