Riphah International University has taken initiative to construct its new campus in Zone V, Islamabad along with a tertiary care teaching hospital of Islamic International Medical College Trust. This new campus will be a positive addition to the landscape of the Federal Capital of Pakistan for healthcare and education facilities with a futuristic vision for accomplishing this noble mission. An agreement has been signed with a consortium of world renowned Architectural companies led by John R Harris and Partners (JRHP) which has a vast experience in planning and designing of large scale projects worldwide. With over 50 years' experience JRHP International's design objective is to apply their international experience to local project solutions. The agreement was signed by the Pro-Chancellor of Riphah International University, Mr. Hassan M. Khan and the Director of JRHP, Mr. Frank Owacki in Dubai on behalf of their respective organizations. This new campus covering over 1 million sqft constructed area is located on a 200 canal site on main Islamabad highway. It will consist of a state of the art 600 bed hospital and a most modern iconic campus, staff and students' residences, a Center for Innovation, Business Incubation Center, state of the art Library & Learning Resource Center and a grand Central Mosque. The campus will be equipped with the most modern learning and campus management resources with focus on low energy footprint and providing a healthy natural learning environment which will be culturally in line with the ideology of Pakistan. The campus will work towards sustainability through energy generation, water preservation, waste & foul water management and transportation. With the development of new campus at Islamabad, Insha-a-Allah, Riphah will lead the journey towards a better Pakistan through world class education accessible at our doorsteps.
