We offer professional services on a contract, retainer or hourly basis to provide maximum rewards and minimal financial risks to clients who can benefit from our special expertise. Our recommendations are concerned with providing solutions to you, not selling insurance products. We have no economic interest in the solutions presented to you. Our main interest is in providing you with the best service possible- we work for you. David Foley established Risk Smart Consulting Inc. in 1997. David brings a wealth of experience to his role of Founder & President of RSC. Prior to establishing RSC, he was Vice President, Special Risks for a Canadian insurance company and also Vice President in a large international brokerage firm. David's many industry accreditations include: Fellow, Insurance Institute of Canada; Fellow, Chartered Insurance Professionals' Society; Canadian Risk Management Diploma; Member, Society of Risk Management Consultants; Non-Resident Member, Risk Management Consultants of Ontario and Member, Global Risk Management Institute. David is a past member of the Board of Directors for the Society of Risk Management Consultants. Most recently, his Canadian Risk Management (CRM) designation was upgraded to CRM-E, indicating knowledge and training in enterprise risk management (ERM). The CRM-E designation was created by the Global Risk Management Institute to demonstrate a risk professional has training in ERM fundamentals as well as in risk assessment, risk control and risk financing. RSC has served many clients in both the private and public sectors. Since 2005, Risk Smart Consulting Inc. has worked with a number of organizations to implement enterprise risk management (ERM) cultures and guide these organizations through the assessment and implementation processes associated with an ERM model. RSC's clientele has included; Municipalities, Provincial Governments, Heavy Industry, Chemical Companies, Law Firms, Environmental Firms, Property Management and Development, Higher Education Institutions, Recreational Marine, Health Care and Technology Suppliers.
