Ritchie Regional Health Center
Ritchie Regional Health Center (RRHC) was established in 1994 as part of a pilot school based health center program. Based in Ritchie County High School, RRHC offered health care services to students, staff, and teachers. Today, RRHC offers primary care services at seven campuses across Doddridge, Pleasants, Ritchie, and Wood counties. In addition to being primary care centers, five of RRHC's campuses are also designated as School Based Health Centers (SBHC). These clinics are located within school grounds and can support the schools (Teachers, Students, Staff), but in some cases, also offer clinical services to the student's parents and the community at large. Ritchie Regional Health Center is designated at a Federally Qualified Health Center and as such is directed by a board comprised of patients and community members.
