Robertsons of Pitlochry

Robertsons of Pitlochry was established in 1961 by Allan and Isla Robertson. In those days the focus was more on grocery, fruit and veg with an offering of beers, wines and spirits. As the markets changed and supermarkets became more popular, Allan decided to focus on whisky and grew the range and his knowledge to make Robertsons known throughout the UK as a merchants of exceptional whisky at great prices. At the end of January 2013, Ewan McIlwraith took over the business and Allan and Isla started the process of retiring. Ewan has a background in both the wholesale and retail sectors having run a specialist drinks wholesale business and latterly working with Sainsbury's and Marks & Spencer. Robertsons will continue to focus on whisky although the range of wines, beers and spirits will be increased to ensure Robertsons remains a destination for those wanting quality, choice and something a wee bit different.
