Founded in 1985, ROCK IN RIO is the brainchild of Brazilian advertising & marketing whiz/entrepreneur/philanthropist , there is no event on the planet like Rock in Rio, which made its debut 28 years ago. And thanks to Medina, since its 2001 edition, hailed by former U.N. Secretary General Kofi Annan, it has raised and distributed over $16 million dollars to benefit social and environmental projects around the world.
