Roscoe Rogers & Knight

Roscoe Rogers and Knight was founded by Phil Smith in 1991. His background until then had been extensively in the property sector, running his own construction company, which specialised in the restoration of older, usually Grade II Listed buildings. Following the 1989 property recession, he decided to move into the world of Management and Letting and so began Roscoe Rogers and Knight. Using the knowledge and contacts he had gained over the years, this new venture proved a great success and he swiftly moved to selling properties, specialising in unique, character homes. The success of the company owed much to Phil's observation of the general standards (or lack of them) of other Estate Agencies. He was determined that Roscoe Rogers and Knight would be different in every sense. That at last there would be an Estate Agency that displayed its properties with plenty of internal and external photographs and clear descriptive details. He even taught himself how to make videos of the properties on sale. This together with the launch of the Roscoe Rogers and Knight website soon gave him the advantage over other agents.
