Rovin Ceramics

Rovin Ceramics

Rovin Ceramics was purchased in April of 2011 by Nawal Motawi, Owner of Motawi Tileworks, an artisan tile company. Rovin has been providing Motawi's moist clay for over a decade, making it a natural extention of the Ann Arbor-based business. Rovin Ceramics was founded in Michigan in 1957, when Rose and Vincent Thomas began mixing and pugging their own clay. Over the past half of a century, Rovin has grown into an enterprise that sources clay and supplies for potters, schools, and institutions reaching from Northern Ohio to the Upper Peninsula. Our store hours are Monday through Friday, 10:00am to 5:00pm. Walk in any time, or for faster service, call a day ahead with your list and we'll assemble it before you arrive. Raw materials are available by the pallet, 50 lb. bag or in pre-weighed bags of 5 and 10 lbs. Some glaze ingredients are available by the pound and half-pound as well.
