The Palm Springs Police Department is committed to excellence in law enforcement and very dedicated to ensuring the safety and security of our city. We believe collaboration with the public is essential in order to prevent/reduce crime and are devoted to community policing. Through open communication we strive to increase public understanding and have partnerships with various community groups. By collectively working with our community we can ascertain whether Department priorities match community expectations and identify/solve problems collectively. We have several conduits used to reach the public, such as our Citizens' Police Academy, Mounted Horse Patrol, The Downtown Experience Bicycle Officers, D.A.R.E. and Police Athletic League, School Resource Officer and more.
