For more than 35 years, MHCS has been serving the families of Saddleback Valley by providing a distinctly Christian education from a biblical worldview. We have been blessed to partner with over 40 churches and with hundreds of families in the education of their children. As an independent Christian school, MHCS is fully accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). Mission Hills Christian School provides a program that balances the academic, spiritual, physical, and social needs of children from preschool through eighth grade. Our goal is to develop thriving disciples of Christ who love God, love others and reach out to the world around them with the love of Christ. In our ever changing world, the stability of God&s;s unchangeable nature provides the foundation upon which our Mission, Vision, and Philosophy of Education are based. My unique perspective as a former parent and teacher at MHCS, and most recently as the principal, helps me to understand vital aspects of our program. I can tell you from personal experience that Mission Hills is a place that impacts children and parents for life. Each of our teachers and staff members recognize the call of God on their lives to be Christian educators and role models. They demonstrate this in the classroom and outside of class time as they respond to the individual needs of our students. Each year your child spends approximately 1,200 hours in school, totaling 15,000 hours from grades K-12.
