Robert Trent Jones Golf Club
Founded in 1991, Robert Trent Jones Golf Club (RTJGC) is a private golf club located in Gainesville, Virginia, a suburb southwest of Washington D.C. The par 72 course has hosted four Presidents Cup tournaments, as well as the PGA Tour's Quicken Loans National. RTJGC was created by legendary golf course architect Robert Trent Jones, who designed the championship layout that sits on picturesque Lake Manassas. Jones is revered for having created legendary courses such as Spyglass Hill, Firestone Country Club, Bellerive Country Club, and Congressional Country Club. He considered RTJGC his masterpiece after it opened in April 1991. "The terrain is aesthetically perfect," Jones said. "I don't think we could have done anything better anywhere."
