Currently, Sabin CDC provides housing as well as other community based programs such as computer classes, workforce development and many more services to the residents of the Sabin, King, Vernon, Concordia, Humboldt and Overlook neighborhoods located in inner North/Northeast Portland. Sabin's key goals are: Maintaining a portfolio of more than 100 Affordable housing units in a gentrified neighborhood Providing opportunity and education programs for both seniors and youth. Sponsoring Technology classes for all residents of Sabin's service area Sabin CDC has a local and national reputation for its community programs and relationships. With a neighborhood based Board, Sabin is committed to maintaining both a positive work environment and a vibrant community. The Executive Director works directly with the Board of Directors to create a long-range vision for Sabin in terms of policy, development strategies, and organizational development. In addition, the Executive Director oversees the day to day workings of a community based organization with its staff of 5 and multiple consultants, its financial health and asset viability.
