Sacred Wind Communications

Sacred Wind Communications is a privately owned, New Mexico-based company, dedicated to improve telecommunications services to rural areas within New Mexico and with a successful model that can be used just about anywhere in the United States. 13 years ago, Sacred Wind built a phone and broadband company from scratch and has reached homes that never had service before. Today the company offers the most wide spread service and the fastest broadband speeds on tribal lands in all of northern New Mexico, which in turn ensures dignity and equality of opportunity for its mostly Navajo customers. Sacred Wind continues to expand and succeed by bridging tradition with a culture of innovation. At its inception, only 26% of homes had access to basic telephone service and none had high speed internet. Now, 95% of the homes in Sacred Wind's territory have access to E911 and high speed internet.
