SalesCart was designed by ComCity Corporation, one of the first 25 registered Microsoft FrontPage Web Presence Providers. With hundreds of FrontPage and other Web hosting customers and many years of FrontPage experience, ComCity has developed a shopping cart that is built for customers as well as Internet Service and Web Presence Providers (ISP/WPPs). What ComCity learned from its customers is that many small to medium sized companies were eager to enable their Web sites for electronic commerce and supplement the income of their new and existing businesses. These customers discovered two things that were truly required to sell products on the Internet: 1) Either you need a lot of money to purchase a complex electronic commerce solution, or 2) you need a team of programmers to build a complex electronic commerce solution.
