Sammons Group

When we were first established in 1957 as 'Josephine Sammons Limited', the company specialised purely in secretarial and clerical vacancies in London. Now nearly half a century later the name 'Sammons' is known across the UK. In the past the company had over eighteen offices 'dotted' across London and the home counties. They currently have two large branches in the City of London and smaller branch offices based in East Sussex. About forty years ago, Josephine Sammons started to supply public sector clients - and our public sector division has gone from strength to strength ever since. Josephine Sammons directors soon realised that they had the resources and the name to further develop the business and branch out into the Financial Services sector. In 1980 they did just this and started to recruit specialist consultants to run specialist desks. Josephine Sammons was rebranded to The Sammons Group. This now meant that The Sammons Group could service every division within one company and any need a client may have. e.g. Accounts, Compliance, Pensions. The senior consultants were so successful on the 'search' sector that a further third company under the Sammons Group was established in 1987, called Sammons Associates. This division of The Sammons Group specialises purely in executive search. The Sammons Group is constantly expanding into new markets, and investigating new ways to offer a quality service to our clients - still under the guidance of our founder and Chairman Ron Evans and his Board of Directors (including his son and daughter).
