Samyung ENC Co., Ltd. is a Korea-based manufacturer specialized in the provision of communication equipment. The Company provides its product under three categories: marine communication equipment, navigation equipment and defense equipment. Its marine communication equipment consists of global maritime distress and safety system (GMDSS) devices, including high frequency (HF) transmitters and receivers, emergency position indication radio beacon (EPIRB) devices and others; general equipment such as single-sideband (SSB) receivers and very high frequency (VHF) receivers; automatic identification systems (AISs), and automatic receiving apparatus. Its navigation equipment includes global positioning system (GPS) plotters, radar equipment and GPS navigators, among others. Its defense equipment consists of shortwave communication systems. It also provides other equipment such as automatic steering equipment, fish finders and others.
