San Domenico is committed to sustainability in all ways, and that includes transportation of our 500+ students to campus each day. Bus service to and from school is included in tuition for Pre-K through 12th grades. Bus routes are based on enrollment, traffic, and other factors each year, but typically we service: San Francisco, Sausalito, Tiburon, Mill Valley Larkspur, Corte Madera, Greenbrae, Kentfield Ross, San Anselmo San Rafael: Peacock Gap, Montecito, Sun Valley Novato West Marin: San Geronimo, Fairfax East Bay: Oakland, Berkeley, Pt. Richmond We outsource our transportation to First Student, the largest transportation provider in North America. They are responsible for the safety and mechanical compliance. We also proudly operate "the shuttle", a smaller bus purchased thanks to parents who gave to Fund-A-Need at the Parent Fundraiser in 2004. The shuttle helps take care of our smallest students, shuttling PreK-3rd graders only. Riding the bus becomes a great part of each student's day. The youngest children are greeted by teachers at the green awning (pictured with the shuttle) each morning, ensuring a welcoming and secure arrival at school. At the end of the school day, teachers walk students to their bus, seeing them off all the way to their seats.
