The Lebanon School District is committed to all students having the tools that they need to access the curriculum and share their knowledge. IDEA 2004 includes the directive that every IEP team should Consider whether the child needs assistive technology devices and services. If your child has a documented disability that you believe requires the use of assistive technology please contact their case manager to discuss the options. This page is a collection of information and resources related to assistive technology and how it might support children with disabilities to access content and demonstrate knowledge. It is important to understand that The Lebanon School District can provide the training, support and access to assistive technology, but that ultimately each student is responsible for its use. While there are many options for assistive technology in the world today. The Lebanon School District has worked hard to establish the use of software that is available across the country at the college level. In doing so we hope to make the transition to college as stress free as possible for our students with diagnosed disabilities.
