ENERGY SAVING INTERNATIONAL

Leeds based Energy Saving International (ESI) is helping its customer Scottish & Southern Energy (SSE) to raise valuable funds for Children's Hospices UK by donating &pound1000 worth of its SAVASOCKET energy-saving multi-sockets to be used as raffle prizes in their Power2Pedal Challenge. In addition the company has made a direct donation of £500 to its local hospice Martin House in Boston Spa, Wetherby, which was gratefully received by corporate fundraiser Brenda Peel. "We are really grateful for this wonderful donation which means that a family can come and stay at Martin House for a weekend break, getting the support and care they need." SSE's Power2Pedal Challenge will see over 20 members of their team cycle 875 miles from Inverness to Havant, in just nine days - 15 to 24 September - to raise an amazing £100,000 for Children's Hospices UK, and make a real difference to the lives of life-limited children across the country. The environmentally-friendly SAVASOCKET Multi-socket 6 is offered to SSE customers as part of the energy company's 'Being Green' initiative.
