Savor Cuenca Magazine's focus is food, drink, travel, and lifestyle. The majority of the Expats that have come to Cuenca have come for one or more of these reasons. The food in Cuenca is sensational. There are so many choices and the chefs are getting better and better. The comida tipica is also outstanding and, for the price, there is no better choice of food. The drink here in Cuenca is also good from morocho to micro-brewed beer and, of course, the ubiquitous sugarcane spirit beverage, Canelazo. Travel is something most people love to do, from a day-trip in the Cajas to a week in the Oriente, we are going to be exploring Ecuador on the cheap and showing you how we did it. Finally, we will feature articles about lifestyle. You might be saying this is a very broad topic, and you'd be right. However, we are going to narrow the focus to the different lifestyles one can have here in Cuenca regardless of what your lifestyle might have been in your home country. Mostly though, Savor is about discovery. We intend on highlighting new things and old, but putting a different spin on each.
