SBI, also known as Schneider-Banks Inc., was founded by owner and president Gene Banks in 1979. As a former member of the Dallas Fire Department, Gene first aimed to specialize in the application of flame retardants to upholstery and drapery fabrics. Since then, SBI has expanded into one of America's leading full service fabric finishing firms. We have accomplished this by using only the highest quality finishing products and the most advanced application techniques. We hold ourselves to a very high standard, as we are not interested in just providing fabric finishes, but in providing the best fabric finishes.
