SCAT Europe was founded in order to protect technicians in analytical laboratories from harmful materials used in the working environment. It is well known that even low, yet continuous exposure can lead to serious health problems. The reason was a large German Chemical company. Contaminant concentrations in a laboratory, where organic solvents were utilized, required necessary structural alteration measures, which resulted in great investment, and laboratory work had to come to a halt as well. The laboratory owner requested a safety concept from SCAT-Europe that would make these measures unnecessary. This worked out great for us. Emissions were drastically reduced with SCAT Safety Caps, structural alterations were no longer necessary. This was implemented during laboratory operation! Our customer saved several 100,000 Euros in clean-up costs. This success was the starting point for us - since that time, we have helped many companies throughout Europe save money and protect their employees from health problems.
