Dr. Schumacher GmbH is one of the leading pan-European manufacturers of disinfection, hygiene and care-products for hospitals, doctor's offices and elderly care facilities, as well as wet wipes for baby care, body hygiene, cosmetics and household. The company has repeatedly developed highly innovative, unique products. Thus as early as the 80s the company brought the first aldehyde free instrument disinfection to market. In 2010 Dr. Schumacher GmbH took on a cutting edge role again with a special cleaner that inactivates pathogenic prions that are most likely the cause of Creutzfeld-Jakob-Disease. Meanwhile about 5.700 tons of disinfectants, among others for hands and skin, medical products and all kinds of surfaces as well as about 200 million packing units of wet wipes for various applications are manufactured per year: Dr. Schumacher GmbH, which has already been successful in manufacturing private label and OEM products for over 35 years has also become one of the internationally recognized non-woven material specialists. The broad customer service and the numerously audited quality management according to ISO 9001, GMP and Cosmetic-GMP as well as EMAS, the eco certification according to ISO 14000 and QAKE has convinced global player as well. Part of Dr. Schumacher GmbH is the EQmed GmbH, who offers a broad service spectrum including training and seminars in the areas of hygiene and quality management as well as application techniques.
