Welcome to the School of Continuing and Professional Education (SCOPE) of City University of Hong Kong. Since its establishment in 1991, CityU SCOPE has been a pioneer and major provider of quality professional and lifelong education in Hong Kong. Our undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes are academically sound and career-relevant. Our professional development programmes cater to corporate training needs; fulfill learners' continuing professional development (CPD) requirements; and prepare candidates for professional examinations. The School has recently launched a series of emerging technology and application courses to improve learners IT skills and bridge the digital divide. In the past two decades, the School and its partner universities have nurtured more than 30,000 graduates of non-local top-up Bachelors degree (Hons) programmes to enter into a world of work and contribute to different sectors of society. Leveraging its excellent record of accomplishment, the School has launched nine 3-year non-local Bachelors degree (Hons) programmes since 2016, as a distinctive option of further studies for secondary school graduates. The quality assurance system of the School follows the internal validation process of City University of Hong Kong, which is rigorous and sound. The non-local Bachelors degree (Hons) programmes have been successfully accredited by the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications (HKCAAVQ). The accreditation can guarantee the quality of individual programme and the eligibility of our full-time students to apply for grants and loans, as well as internship and scholarship schemes offered by the Government of the HKSAR. Graduates of these programmes are recognised by the Government of the HKSAR for employment.
