We are extremely excited for the Wildcats to return to the classrooms. Whether you are a returning student, new to our school, or starting school for the very first time we know that you share the same excitement for the beginning of a new school year! Our administrators, teachers, and support staff have participated in a variety of professional development and training sessions this summer. We are excited about sharing these new ideas and instructional strategies with your children. We are committed to meeting the educational needs of all students at Jackson Elementary. Jackson Elementary is also dedicated to helping produce and shape responsible young citizens. Students are encouraged to be respectful, honest, caring, and polite on a daily basis. This year, we are showing children how to be "Bucket Fillers". This is a popular way to teach good character and bully prevention. Students will have many opportunities to be recognized for good citizenship. We are proud of our students when they make good choices and strive to help students learn from their mistakes when poor choices are made. We are extremely thankful for the opportunity to serve the parents and children of Seymour Community Schools. We are so glad that you are here at Jackson Elementary. Best of luck this year!
