San Diego American Indian Health Center
The San Diego American Indian Health Center (SDAIHC) is a private, nonprofit corporation established in 1979 to provide services to Native Americans living in the San Diego area. The Center's services have been expanded to cover all people in need who qualify for government assistance (see "Eligibility" section), while maintaining a focus on the Native American population. The Center offers individualized services of the highest quality. Providers are California licensed physicians, dentists, psychologists, and nurses with an understanding and appreciation for the unique cultural needs of Native Americans. Although our emphasis is the urban American Indian population, the CENTER is open to everyone regardless of race, color, gender, age, ancestry, mental and physical abilities, religion, socio-economic status, and national origin. All American Indians are eligible for care regardless of residency or tribal affiliation.
