Seaside Real Estate was founded by Vernon Curtis in 1973 out of a desire to highlight the amazing real estate investment potential in The Bahamas in general, and Exuma, Bahamas, in particular. Having been active in real estate sales since 1969, Vernon Curtis believes that no one can tell the history and share the wonderful insights of Exuma like a native - someone who was born and currently lives on the island. Vernon Curtis remains proud of his knowledge and attachment to this gem, known as the Exumas(?). Today, Vernon remains a visionary community leader and continues to provide strategic direction for the company. Vernon is a part of the colorful historic fabric of Exuma. Over the years he has served as Founding President of The Exuma Chamber of Commerce; Past President of Kiwanis Club of George Town; Past President of Exuma Jaycees; Past Master, Mt. Royal No. 20 of Exuma Prince Hall Masons; and Past Grand Master, Bahamas Prince Hall Masons. Professionally, Vernon Curtis is a Broker/Appraiser with the Bahamas Real Estate Association. His professional designations are Senior Certified Valuer (SCV), Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS), and Certified Residential Specialist (CRS). Vernon's passions include basketball, fishing, and reading. He lives in George Town, Exuma with his wife, Mag and daughter, Janeen.
