SeKaf Ghana Limited operates in three segments: the SeKaf Shea Butter Village, agricultural services, and shea consultancy. The SeKaf Shea Butter Village segment develops and manages organic and conventional shea fields and collaborates with women's cooperatives at the grassroots level to process premium quality unrefined shea butter (organic certified, traceable, and conventional) in a fully traceable and controlled system, which is then sold to cosmetic companies worldwide. This segment also specializes in producing SeKaf's natural shea based bath and beauty products under the brand name TAMA®. The agricultural services segment procures and transports raw material for multinational agro-processing firms in the shea and cashew industries. This segment also trades in agricultural commodities such as shea nuts, soya beans and sesame seeds. The shea consultancy segment involves training groups and individual clients on improved production techniques for processing premium shea kernels and premium artisanal shea butter. This segment also brokers specialty fats (Cocoa Butter Equivalent, shea stearin and shea olein) for confectionery and cosmetics manufacturers. SeKaf Ghana Limited was founded in 2003 and is based in Tamale, Ghana.
