Sekisui Voltek, LLC manufactures crosslinked closed-cell polyolefin foams in North America. It offers Volara, a fine-celled and irradiation crosslinked foam that is available in continuous rolls and laminated sheets; Volextra, an extrusion-coated Volara that combines the properties of foam and solid plastic for the design of composite materials with high-performance characteristics; and Minicel, a fine-celled crosslinked foam. The companys foam solutions are used in a variety application within the transportation, tape and healthcare, building and construction, telecommunications, consumer equipment, sports and leisure, and general industrial markets. It sells its products to a network of authorized fabricating distributors. Sekisui Voltek, LLC was formerly known as Voltek, LLC and the name was changed in April 2006. The company was founded in 1969 and is based in Lawrence, Massachusetts with sales offices in the United States. It has manufacturing facilities in Massachusetts and Michigan; and has operations in Japan, Australia, the Far East, the Asia Pacific, the Netherlands, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, China, and Korea. Sekisui Voltek, LLC operates as a subsidiary of Sekisui Chemical Co., Ltd.
