At Self Publishing, Inc., all levels of editing are conducted in a manner that preserves your voice, as the author, so the book is still really your own after editing. We work to clarify your intended meaning, and not to change the meaning of your content. We strive to assist you in achieving your personal goals for your manuscript. We can help to ensure your book represents you well, and that you can take pride in your publishing outcome. One of our priorities is to make the publishing and editing process operate as smoothly and as simply as possible for you. We know you have already put much time and effort into your writing project, and we want to help you further improve your manuscript without complicating the process. All of our editing programs are based on receiving a single MS Word document from the author. That document will be returned from the editor as two separate documents. The first is a completely edited document that can be forwarded to the designer who is working on the page layout of your book. The second is exactly the same as the first, with the exception that the "track changes" utility within MS Word has been turned on so you can see the changes that have been made. This copy is primarily intended as a reference. All of our editors are located in the USA NOTE: Our editing programs are designed to be easy on your bank account, without sacrificing anything in the quality of edit. In order to accomplish this, none of the programs include any actual contact with the editor. Schedules and other administrative duties will be handled by the Self Publishing Team.
