Selkasan

Selkasan had been founded in 1988, to produce paper and packaging goods as a Çukurova Holding Group enterprise. Selkasan, which is located in 202,000 m² area in Manisa industrial zone, began production in 1991. The capacity which was 45,000 ton /year in the beginning , reached 60,000 ton / year in 1996 with additional investments. In 2001, it increased to 72,000 tons per year. With the 2nd paper machine starting of in 2007, our annual production capacity reached 170,000 tons, and our company finally started producing low weight paper which has been increasing demand over the past few years in corrugated board industry. We produce our own steam and electricity with 10 megawatt generating stationwhich stepped in March of 2009. Çukurova Group is our country's leading group of companies roots of which go back to early 1923, the year Turkish Republic was found, is now operating in automotive, paper, chemical goods, textile goods, construction, telecommunication, banking, insurance, media and sea transportation and information technology services. Çukurova started operating in Tarsus with a textile factory. The name of the group comes from "Çukurova" region.
