Sembmarine SLP has over 40 years of unparalleled expertise and experience in the offshore energy industry and we are proud to be the only provider of true single-source EPIC capability in the UK with all personnel based in-house. We are a subsidiary of Sembcorp Marine Ltd of Singapore, one of the world's largest EPC contractors in the offshore engineering industry with access to 12 construction yards around the globe. Together with our parent company we can offer the capacity and know how to build any size of offshore structure. Whilst our parentage offers access to extensive capacity and solid security for our customers, the fact that 30% of Sembmarine SLP Limited is owned by its operational management demonstrates the management's commitment and passion that are hallmarks of our products. Our project-based philosophy promotes the interaction of innovative designers and engineers with some of the industry's most experienced project management, procurement, compliance and construction personnel to provide integrated turnkey solutions to our customers. Our advantageous geographical location on a promontory in Lowestoft, the most easterly yard in the UK, allows direct access to the North Sea, whilst the harbour benefits from a low tidal range which significantly assists load out operations. Sembmarine SLP's main strategic business areas are: Oil and Gas - specialising in engineering and construction projects worldwide, with particular focus on North Sea Minimum Facilities Platforms (MFP) and state of the art Accommodation Modules. Engineering and Consultancy - providing design and engineering services to the Energy Sector Renewable Energy - renewable energy projects, primarily the design and construction of offshore substations for offshore wind farms. Offshore Services - Specialist support of offshore projects and asset life extensions including engineering, project management and completion of upgrades and modifications of offshore structures. We provide clients with inventive, safe and cost effective solutions that drive down overall costs and make opportunities into viable developments.
