A new Joint Venture begins, now with the Chinese giant, which is the world's second largest television maker and the world's fifth largest maker of LCD panels, renamed SEMP TCL and offers the Brazilian market three Big brands: SEMP, TCL and TOSHIBA. In early 2018, the company announces the purchase of TCL Communication Technology, under the Alcatel and Blackberry brands. Already in 2019, it consolidates its most relevant partnership in the sports field, after joining with CBF to sponsor the Brazilian Football Team.
