Brisbane-based Sentinel Property Group, an unlisted commercial property fund manager, was established in 2010. It has been one of the most active and successful opportunistic buyers of commercial property in Australia and now owns and manages a national portfolio of 45 retail, industrial, office, land and tourism infrastructure assets throughout Australia. The privately-owned company operates nationally and has a team of more than 70 staff, close to 600 investors, and total assets under management over $1 billion. Sentinel Property Group consistently tops the PCA/IPD (Property Council of Australia/Investment Property Databank) index of the country's best performing unlisted retail property funds based on total return performance. It has claimed the number one position 41 out of the last 48 months on this index, and in the most recent monthly rankings claimed 9 positions in the Top 10 for 12 month total return performance.
