Sew Creative Café

We pride ourselves in passing along the skills of sewing, quilting, to kids starting at the age of 6, and knitting and crochet at the age of 8. Our objective is to teach these skills in a non-competitive environment, and to encourage kids to work at their own pace. We love to watch them growing in self-esteem & self-confidence as their skills improve. We know that some of our students are going to do amazing things in these fields! Sew Creative Cafe is owned and operated by Joyce Blaney Zappellini, who has been sewing since she learned in high school....many years ago....in the 60's. Sewing for people became her main source of income when she was a single mom in the 70's & 80's. After sewing clothing for many years, she decided to try quilting, and loves, loves, loves it!
