SGS DNA was founded in 1990 by Dr. Sune Kvist. The initial aim of the company was to provide scientists with high quality oligonucleotides, but already after a few years our focus shifted towards the In Vitro Diagnostic Industry. We early recognized the need for oligonucleotides with exceptional high purity, manufactured at the same level of safety and confidence as pharmaceuticals- and this is where we are today. Since the start the company has grown gradually, making expansions and investments step by step. Today, we have some 50 employees and a production facility containing more than 20 clean rooms. We are certified by both ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 and work according to cGMP/QSR. We are also registered at the US FDA as an ASR manufacturer. Today, we have many of the leading IVD companies as our customers. Our products are used in a variety of diagnostic and theranostic kits, which provides valuable information to physicians and patients all over the world.
