Shiga University

2. Shiga University International (SUI), established in April 2006, is the university-level facility that promotes the exchange of students and faculty members between Shiga University and overseas universities. The SUI also provides exchange students with guidance and counseling in their studies and daily lives, making efforts to support students' successful stay on our campuses as well as foster international friendships. The SUI's missions are: 1. Promoting overseas study- programs for students, 2. Facilitating the acceptance to Shiga University of foreign students and researchers, 3. Offering guidance to international students concerning their studies as well as their daily lives, 4. Offering preparatory guidance to Shiga University students concerning their forthcoming studies in unfamiliar milieus, 5. Coordinating relationships with overseas universities.
