Shinwha Intertek Corporation is principally engaged in the manufacture and sale of display and electronic materials. The Company provides four product categories: adhesive tapes, including industrial tapes for cathode-ray tubes (CRTs) and liquid crystal displays (LCDs); kitchen electronics, including inductor cookers and ceramic cookers; positive temperature coefficients (PTCs), encompassing over current protection devices, as well as optical films including diffusion films, protection films and reflection films, which are used in back light units (BLUs) for LCDs. During the year ended December 31, 2007, the sale of optical films accounted for approximately 93% of the Company's total revenue. Its major customers are Samsung SDI, LG-PHILIPS DISPLAY, Thomson, SILIT and Rena Ware. On July 18, 2008, the Company established a Taiwan-based subsidiary, which is mainly engaged in optical film related business.
