Shipley Motor Equipment Company is a third generation family owned Mack, Volvo, and Hino dealer located in Northwest and Central Arkansas dedicated to serving its customer's needs in the transportation industry. Built on the principles of its founder, Shipley Motor has continued to build on its reputation of providing quality service. Founded in 1946 by Carl Shipley in Fort Smith, Arkansas, Shipley Motor began as a trailer repair and parts company. Shipley became a full line Mack Trucks dealership in 1957. Throughout the 1960s Shipley also carried the Dodge HD brand of trucks and parts. Mr. Shipley believed in always putting the customer first, and that belief is instilled in every aspect of business at Shipley still today.
