Established in York in 1820, Shouksmiths offer a full range of mechanical and electrical design and installation services for a wide range of clients in the public and private sector. In addition to this, we also offer maintenance, refrigeration and specialist contract services. We deliver: mechanical packages plumbing packages electrical packages heating and air conditioning solutions lead work projects data solutions green energy solutions including biomass and photo voltaic technology small works projects Seven generations on from when Joseph Shouksmith started the company, his descendants are still heavily involved with our operations and we are currently being led by Managing Director David Shouksmith. Our turnover is in the region of £12 million, and we employ more than 70 people. Their skills are the best in the industry and many have undertaken their apprenticeships with us. We work closely with all of our team to constantly develop their knowledge and capabilities.
