SHPOUL is a voluntary, not-for-profit, non sectarian, non-political humanitarian organization dedicated to respond to disastrous communities and shape social & economic development for the poor, disasters affected, marginalizes, vulnerable, and disadvantaged communities of Afghanistan. SHPOUL established in 2008 and registered with the Ministry of Economy at central and provincial levels. SHPOUL envisions a transformed community wherein stakeholders actively participating in alternative social infrastructure which promote environmental sustainability, responding disasters, and community-managed resources; towards a balanced society and decentralized governance for the common good and welfare. SHPOUL is thematically working in sub-sectors of Community development, Emergency Response, Women and Youth Empowerment, Agriculture and Food security, Good Governance & Rule of Law, and Peace building and Conflict resolutions.
